Inspiration file

These are some photos I found online that give me inspiration on my designs. Some I don't know what I want to do with yet, and others I have made designs from before from looking at them for inspiration.
I don't know what categories these will fit into for my Inspiration Binder, but they will all for sure be in the binder.

Also, I'm super sad I couldn't make it to school today to see the presentation. I got really sick this morning and wouldn't have even made it through first period. I hope everyone really enjoys it though. I know I would have.

Candy collection

I collected my first candy wrapper today for the article of clothing I have to make. It's a Snickers wrapper. I actually am really happy about having this as a project, since I was planning on having it as part of my concentrations. So that will be super nice :)

Finished with the drawing of all 3 lines of stuffed animals! And I am now done with my AP Art homework!

This line is called Pepper. I drew Past, Present, and Future versions.

This is the Traffic Light Crew. These are the updated versions of them.

Last, I have my Tanabata line. Tanabata is a story of two lovers, Orihime (a princess and weaver) and Hokiboshi (a hearder). Orhime's father, Tentei (a god) set her up with Hokiboshi in hopes to make her happy. The two fell in love and their work began to suffer. Tentei was upset and split them apart. Their work still suffered after this because they were too upset to do anything. So Tentei cam up with the idea that if they did all of their work that year, then he would let them see each other for one day, July 7th (also my anniversary, which is why I picked this story) Then they would be allowed to cross over the milky way for a night to see each other. For this story, I drew a stuffed animal of each of the characters.

One more off the list

Done making my stuffed animals! I find them completely adorable :) They don't stand up right, but for my first time every making stuffed animals, I would say I did pretty good. Now all I have left to do is finish drawing my other two lines of stuffed animals. That will be a piece of cake.

Takin' Care of Business

Finished my newspaper dress! I'm so glad to be done with this! I honestly don't like it very much. My mold by itself was on the wider side and it caused the dress to look very short and stocky (fat for lack of a better word) I think if it looked thinner and possible taller, it would look WAY better. And I'm also not all too satisfied with the bow. I was hoping that would be my favorite part, but it definitely came out looking the worst. I do however think that everything else turned out very nicely. Everyone needs room to improve though right?

On another note, my stuffed animals are SOOOO close to being complete.I just have a few things I have to hand sew and then they are finished as well. I will post them as soon as they are done along with the pictures of my other two lines.
